We were founded with a singular purpose: to help businesses navigate the complexities of employment law and workplace safety. From the start, we recognized that small and mid-sized businesses often struggle to keep up with ever-changing regulations while balancing day-to-day operations. Our goal was to become a trusted partner, offering businesses the guidance and resources they need to stay compliant, improve workplace safety, and reduce workers’ compensation costs.
As we grew, so did our commitment to providing comprehensive safety and HR solutions. We developed a monthly e-newsletter to keep businesses informed of critical compliance updates and industry best practices. We also built a robust online resource library, equipping businesses with the policies, forms, and training materials needed to manage their workforce effectively. Over time, we expanded our training offerings, hosting workshops and personalized consultations to help businesses implement effective safety programs and risk management strategies.
Recognizing the financial impact of workplace injuries, CEI joined forces with Pinnacol Assurance to create a safety group program designed to lower workers’ compensation costs. By bringing together businesses committed to safety and claims management best practices, we created a program that provides exclusive premium discounts, access to specialized training, and the potential for dividend returns. This partnership has allowed us to directly impact the financial health and operational success of our members.
2013
In 2013, when Pinnacol Assurance reevaluated all its Dividend Groups, CEI was one of the few organizations to survive the restructuring, demonstrating our effectiveness in supporting businesses and reducing claims. Our ability to adapt, innovate, and provide meaningful solutions ensured that our program remained a valuable asset to Colorado businesses.
2022
CEI reimagined its approach to business support, expanding its strategic HR and safety solutions to address the evolving needs of Colorado’s workforce. We recognized that compliance, safety, and HR strategy must work together to create strong, resilient businesses. Our evolution led us to provide more tailored training, industry-specific compliance strategies, and proactive risk management solutions to better serve our members.
